Coasting With Flair...

That's right everyone, its New Years Eve and you're probably wondering what we're cooking up our sleeves right? Wondering how we will be spending our night? Well then, let me disclose how we will be bringing the luxuries of the heart to life...

I shared with you a couple reflective thoughts that were running through my mind yesterday about the New Year and so on… As you know I tend to get “poetic" and philosophical when I speak of exciting things such as life! Discussing business ventures and sharing my general outlook on life to empower others is so holistic to me! It's a portion that I get across into each of my endeavours that way you get a better sense of my approach and most importantly the kind of person I am! [I think it's important]... but anyhow, not to go astray from today’s blogging edition lol ;)

As I was saying, you guys are probably wondering what WEP is cooking up for New Year's Eve??? Fortunately for us, we're coasting with flair... meaning, tonight we're going to relax and mingle in style! Starfish Creative Events + Inspiration have generously invited us to attend and grace the Red Carpet in good old Hollywood fashion...
This team is such a big inspiration when it comes down to event management and design here in Ottawa and I have no shame in saying so openly! I admire their work!! I know some of you are probably frowning like, isn't this your competition?? I say no, why look at others as a "threat" if they can 1) inspire you 2) help you get better??? Seriously, talking and exchanging thoughts with other experts in this industry is not only a great exercise but always stimulating and encouraging!

To sum it up, I am totally looking forward to ring in the New Year with splash! The event will be taking place inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel [downtown Ottawa if you're unfamiliar] in two stunning penthouse rooms! So many goodies and surprises await but why spoil the beans if you can just read about it yourselves? If you're still wondering what to do tonight I suggest you get to your keyboard and get your tickets fast…

Till then, the countdown begins may you all be extraordinary and beyond verbal measures!!!Happy New Years everyone!

Totally Reflecting on...

How good it's been? How fun this year has been? How challenging it's been....?
And what did that make you....Better? More reflective? More positive? More grateful? Less doubtful? Maybe fearful…

I can truly say 2009 has left me more PASSIONATE and more DETERMINED! 2010 is not "MY YEAR" it's just another moment, another given opportunity for you and I to breakthrough!!!! This said, may you all go where your hearts aspire! Walk by faith and with the conviction you will rise above NO MATTER the obstacles...

Prepare yourselves and align yourselves towards your goals [there is no better formula]; don't just talk about them but position yourselves in order to experience them!

"What you sow to, will speak to you" - Empower yourself...!!!!

Daily Convoitise: Embellishment...

If you're in need of some “holiday” inspiration for either a celebration with your close entourage or an ideal "dinner date" with the entire family; Here's another one of Preston Bailey's creations we can savour and contemplate and of course try our best to reproduce! It's all in the details...

"On the set" Lights, Camera... Chic!

This weekend I took it easy considering everything is pretty much in motion business wise. Saturday I was on the set of "Classic, Chic & Soulful" which is the personal shoot I had with the very talented, Tina Picard.

Tina is a beautiful local photographer in the Ottawa, Hull region. It was truly a pleasure to shoot with her; she was very welcoming and down to earth! I love working with people who are free-spirited, passionate and vivid about what they do![Her work totally speaks for itself]...

I've had wonderful fashion shoots in the past and always felt the need to diversify, which is why this time around I wanted something a bit more different. Still fashion but a bit more subtle and corporate, considering these are mainly promo shots I plan on using for a campaign WEP is set to launch some time in the New Year!

I have to admit though, I wish someone had taken the time to remind me how long the whole hair and makeup process is... 2 ½ hrs hmmm... nothing right? What can you really say, when all you have to do is sit there and enjoy? Yeah, I love being pampered! Lol... It's so unusual for me to sit still for more than 5 minutes therefore when given the opportunity to take pleasure in somebody else’s art, I have no complaints :) - Besides my MUA Tricia Minga did a good job and had me looking pretty hence a little glimpse of the pic you see :) [Did I mention we were working away the details of her launch?? She’s a talented singer, model & make-up artist! Look out for this talented gem! Believe me]...

I really can't wait to see the entirety of the shoot! I would love to give you a sneak peak but I myself wasn’t given any…

Spicy + Savvy Holiday Party

Last Thursday I was invited to a festive holiday party that was hosted by Bronwyn Hammell, from Cinammon Toast New Media Inc and her wonderful partner Carrie Irvine from Blackbird Communications. Add these two fabulous ladies to your mix and together they’ve joined forces to create “Spicy & Savvy”… (If you recall, Cinammon Toast New Media Inc are the ones responsible for the layout of my beautiful website and all my branding related needs)

This was a fabulous cocktail, I have no complaints! It was cold outside but the atmosphere definitely warmed up my spirit! The “spice” was in full effect! It was a great place to network, sip, shop and mingle with fellow “savvy” mates in business! The signature drink, the punch, the wine and the appetizers were top of the line [If you know me, you know I like “a good drink” with “a good kick” if you know what I mean :)]! Let us not forget, the live entertainment… yes there was a live band [Ahh, let’s not get me started the singer was so refreshing]! The cocktail was held at the HUSH clothing store, the ladies there were so welcoming and graceful

All in all, everything was well organized not to mention a kind gesture to honour each of their clients and let them know how much they appreciated them and their business.

I felt honoured to be invited and totally felt like a valued client!

Thank you :)

Gearing Up...

Whew, that's really all I can say!
So many exciting things have come to pass in the previous weeks, makes me feel like I owe you guys a TELL ALL book lol! But seriously, I hope all of you are doing well! We're approaching "the close" of the year and I am pretty sure you guys understand me when I say "trying to stay up to speed" :)! I'm personally taking every second of these last few days to pause and reflect on how "climatic" this year has been! I feel blessed, favoured and privileged to still be standing and to still be able to press forward. I gave birth to new ventures this year and I plan on giving birth to more in the New Year... It's a lot of work, a lot of challenges but when you LOVE WHAT YOU DO you see NO LIMITS! It's all part of my purpose; I'm persuaded come what may...

With this said, I hope you guys are also feeling the same or at least working your way up towards something you feel strongly and passionately about...

Daily "Convoitise": Lime is Rich....

Preston Bailey's work what more is there to say... Inspiration!

Nothing Ventured, Nothing gained...

Hey there remember me :)
"Plenty to share, plenty to tell"! I’m back “in the mix” sorry for my absence...
You can already predict what I'm going to say right??? It's been CRAZY BUSY but it’s all good fun wouldn’t trade it for the world [I love what I do! You wouldn't catch me complaining]…
The fashion shows are coming along GREAT! Time is flying and "showtime" is so near I can’t wait! There have been a few minor changes here and there but nothing we couldn’t foresee nor handle….
I feel so blessed to be part of this and being able to create many different ways to perfect my business is even better! I just want to take this journey to a HIGHER HIGH! As you can see, I’m trying my best to close in and embrace the New Year on good terms if you know what I mean ;)Perfecting some details and shaping different aspect of my life by staying productive! So much is happening and like I've mentioned before: "What a difference a year or two can truly make”…

I was planning on giving you guys a COMPLETE break down of what I've been keeping from you in the past couple days whatnot but I stumbled upon a quote last night that totally described my current state of mind and just wanted to leave you with that for today, and tomorrow I’ll get into more specifics [how does that sound?]….

"You won’t see your pathway unless you use your faith"

With this said,
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Empower yourself …

Mind In the Muscle, Rolling Up My Sleeves...

We've reached it? The blessed 5th of the week that is and I am sure you have plenty to be grateful for! I know I do because I am still standing by God's grace...
Yup standing indeed [POSTURE] and rolling up my sleeves right about now as I am working away, fine tuning some details [what's new right? lol] to stay in alignment...

On this subtle Friday, I would like to briefly share a little something [told you I would be doing more of that right??? huhuh I am a woman who keeps her word]... So, I had a consultation meeting last night with one of my clients and I can't begin to tell you how mind blowing it felt to discuss the entirety of her Christian book launch! It's something fairly new for me [planning-wise] but being a poet myself makes the process easy to embrace without hesitating [writing is such a deep deep passion of mine!been working on a book myself but that’s for another day]!!!

After hearing my clients vision and attentively taking notes on how far she wants to take this project I can already feel the successful outcome of this production. This will be an amazing outreach for women of God who are yearning for a higher presence in their personal and family lives but also for women in general, who are looking to position and find themselves in their everyday lives! In my opinion, when you create a relevant cause to empower others there's no need to discriminate your audience despite of their background or beliefs… "WE" all need a dose of good sense every now and then and this event will do just that for one's spirit because it has substance! Although I am the planner, I see it far beyond "just that"! Brainstorming for this event has already given me plenty to reflect upon [you guys should know by now, how introspective I am :)]… This launch is going to be quite powerful and God alone can direct me...

With this said, "keeping my mind in the muscle"! you can only imagine how busy it's been and tomorrow I am back at it with the fashion show preps....!

It's Raining: "HUMBRELLA" Taking The World by Storm...

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about what I want to share with you... [Yes, I am finally going to divulge just a bit more information about one of the other fashion shows I am presently coordinating]!

Within Essence Productions has partnered with Ottawa's own local talent; Kayan Aiken to bring you her first designer launch titled "HUMBRELLA" [I will definitely tell you more about this incredible woman in the forthcoming weeks, as we count down the opening of her amazing collection]...

We've been working with her for the past months to bring you this event that is set for the New Year [January 23rd, 2010]! Her jaw-dropping couture edge will definitely leave you shook and create a hazard that can only take the world by storm [you've heard it here first; you've been WARNED]...

With this said, don't just sit there and wait to get weathered by "the storm" !!! Grab your umbrellas and celebrate this launch with us. My good friend Marcia said it best: "if you got an itch for fashion, then I suggest you scratch it"...

GLAM... What more can one say?

No, no, no...
I am not making my way to the alter in my white dress in any time soon! I just do what I do and that is snoop snoop snoop to provide the scoop [lest we not forget I consult on many levels after all] ... :)

Couple days ago or perhaps last week I briefly talked about the dark edges and the "fairy flairs" you are bound to find more common in current trends on the 2010 bridal runways... but I forgot to mention how glam never ceases to amaze... I thought this dress was absolute radiance; the word is finesse! Don't know, there's just this simple unique touch to it that I love [Valentino did quite a number on this one] how greedy would it have been on my part if I didn't share?Funny enough, I stumbled upon this as I was reasearching other things that are "non-weddy" related...

So, with this said, if you are about to turn on your bridezilla senses and feed your dismay for the reason that you are out of touch when it comes to your wedding gown then I suggest you breathe and STOP!!! [Wow, see how sound that was lol] but yeah stop… take a look at how beautiful YOU WILL BE on your special day... who said you can't rock it like you're on the runway? Let's break the rules shall we? go get'em with your "hitched" self...

.... just know what you like when it comes down to your dress --> Keep it "simple" and keep it YOU [that's the best ingredient by the way]:...

...Just a little bit of "Swagg for you Savvs"

Let's lay our wittiness aside for a brief moment and perhaps touch on our own daily attire...
Considering spring is spinning off and escaping us so candidly [arrrgh the snow that fell upon us early this morning "bah" got to love nature right?!], it just hit me and I thought I'd warm you guys up with a little reminder to help you brush off the shady weather... huhuh, 'tis the season indeed!!!! Doesn't it kill you when you buy a killer pair of pumps or stilletos then go outside to find out it's either raining or snowing??? Or perhaps when you buy that nice trench coat and figure it's far too cold to wear it out? Or that nice cocktail mini you now have to save up for next summer? What about those sexy knee-high suede boots you feel like throwing out regardless of the fact you sprayed them countless times last year, the salt still managed to ruin them? etc etc.... Perhaps you're nodding because you know it hits home! Perhaps not, rather confused but my point is for those who at times feel like winter is a "swagger- hater"!![ just think of that nasty slush melting on your pants and you will see where I'm going, ha]! You and I both know how winter can easily make you lose your summer edge (i.e. make you feel like there's no point to fix yourself up or even make you lazy) but who said you couldn't have swag and be fab during "reindeer season"??? After all, it's either you got it or you don't! And if you do, why should that fade? and if you feel like you don't, what's stopping you to get on your "quick fix" momentum?? It's just a matter of knowing your body and knowing what style works for thee [will cover that issue very soon]...

With respect to this matter, I picked out the runway styles you see above because a) I felt like they exemplified that effortless, classic-chic essence of natural confidence (it's called "swag")... and (b) to encourage you to keep on staying "up to par" with that same confidence despite the season change and still allow yourself to work it out on your own with poise and posture while still keeping warm...

On this note, why juggle your appetite or compromise your natural "oumph"?!

Clientèle

Today has been rather interesting and refreshing! Been tweeting away, working away, scheduling and reading away [I sense you get the point ?!]... As a matter of fact the day isn't over yet but it's about to get even more fascinating as I will be meeting up with several clients later on tonight to discuss several plans and strategies for what is currently shaking up...

I find that it's always important to follow-up on clients and make sure that they are aware of any new developments that may arise when planning any type of production [leave it be an event, a one on one consultation or a personal styling session etc]. It's good enough to know they trust you will be making the right execution decisions on their behalf; however, that alone shouldn't be taken for granted! Although, you are hired on the basis of taking charge, it's always appreciated when you let them know what you are up to as they will not only feel included and involved but will feel valued [not to mention respected] in the entire “scheduled” process which to me alleviates unnecessary misunderstandings.

After all, etiquette and conduct are all part of the services you provide [I'll assume and take that as a big yes]! People need to feel like they can communicate with you "in and out" of a business context. Sure there are fine lines between being personable, relatable and professional …. But why should a simple cheque dictate your behaviour???hmm... a simple "generic" thought to keep in mind…

My point: Maintaining an upright relationship with your clients is what is going to flourish and influence your referral base indeed but what will even so determine the size of your character

Full Throttle 2: Addicted to "Busi-ness"

"Alrighty", rather than filling the cup of excuses [notice how quick that word faded] here’s a little taste of my updates as promised:

It has been full speed ahead around here with all the productions I am currently directing; not to mention many of my own personal endeavours...

Reminder...

- Gwen Madiba’s second annual fashion show “I Am Fashion: Rip The Fab Lane”.
As stated in my earlier posts, the model casting is now finalized! Eliminating some of the models wasn’t easy but it had to be done and we are pleased with those who have been selected to strut on the fab lane. We are currently moving onto the next phase with (a) our first meeting with ALL the models Dec 5th and (b) the sponsorship campaign! With this said, we are right on schedule therefore I couldn’t be any happier! Our venue is booked and our vendors are lined up! Couple onsite logistics activities this week … hmm spilling too much but will be giving you “the fashion insight” soon :)

Two other clients have added themselves to my list of fashion shows; however, will keep my lips sealed for now and won’t say too much. Can you say addicted to busy-ness…?
3 fashion shows for 3 different clients - hmm… different lines, different themes, different concepts, can you feel the pressure?? Sing with me..."I'm loving it" [better believe it!!!brainstorm, brainstorm and more brainstorms] I know I am sounding like a freak but nah, I just love being challenged

Apart from that, I’ve been working away the production of a musical play for a local female singer/song writer! This launch is the ideal thrill and can’t wait to put all the pieces together with a touch of "class, chic and soul"! Hushhh, stay tune for more…

New to my list of duties... a powerful & uplifting book launch for a christian author; I'm truly excited about this project! I was called upon about a week ago and was totally humbled :)... Also lined up, a couple of interesting beauty and empowerment workshops that I am hoping to schedule on a monthly basis in the New Year [yup, look out for my "tricks and bits" segments]...

There is no better time to start planning this out! It may not seem like a lot... [Euuh does that even make sense??? ha-ha] but trust me when I say "the making" behind every detail of an event or a project of any sort is a lot of work! What's going to make a difference in the planning and the process more efficient is... your spirit and however you choose to go about your strategy and knowing what is required to be done at the proper given times! Words like structure, precision, clarity, goals, objectives etc etc etc are crucial in the executing phase!!

The sooner you start the better you finish! “NOW” is always the best time to start planning and getting organized…

Daily Inspiration: "Why Not"...?

In total awe's and oohs and feel totally inspired! I am amazed by the amount of resources that life has to offer and the wonderful people God puts forward into our lives for a specific reason...

Behind each steps of this journey lie the hidden treasures of wisdom! Although on "the come- up" and slightly growing into a maven, I feel like there is absolutely nothing to lose as long as I keep pushing to the limit…

With this said, I want to leave you with a little something that left me more than enthused! If you're a visionary at heart, you will understand my emotion....

"You see things and say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were and say, ‘Why not?"
- George Bernard Shaw

Mind-Full

New projects, New Decisions, New Challenges …
In this economy, you can't afford to just sit there and rely on "your own understanding"! Whether you're in business or not you have to "seek to find". This is why; I always find it stimulating and important to nurture my intellectual appetite. Wise man once told me “…When it’s all said and done you can only do what you know” and I couldn’t beg to differ…

I spent my weekend reading and researching some interesting resources on entertainment ideas, beauty tips, current trends and various topics. Considering the wave of projects I am currently handling, it is crucial for me to adapt to any moving trend! This in return will allow me to produce and create something of different substance [rule of thumb: creative juices always have to flow]...

I also took the time to work on my new “vision board[I’ve vowed to do one every 6 months from now on that way I can keep my ideas, goals and business files freshly updated].

Can’t wait to share some of my new discoveries in the upcoming posts…

Tale of the day: The mind is truly a terrible thing to waste…!

Strategist?? Post Website launch…

Made it through another week full of activity [Whew, Praise God]…

I want to take this moment to thank everyone who took the time out of their day to celebrate the launch of our new website with us. I’m truly moved by the positive feedback and constructive criticism I’ve received thus far. It’s an exciting stage of our business and sharing the experience makes it worthwhile. Sometimes I feel like it hasn’t hit me yet! Seriously, all this “traffic” feels surreal… what a difference a couple years can truly make and what a way we mature [ Key words to the wise --> step by step, mile by mile]…

A lot of time was spent, but I can testify today and say that none was wasted! I guess all the strategizing and planning paid off [not to mention praying for a better sense of direction] and this is just a small piece of the pie; there is so much more in stores and I feel blessed and privileged to handle “this rush”.

I would be a liar though, if I failed to admit that things can get a little overwhelming at times! Being a young entrepreneur can get scary and the writing on the wall is not always crystal clear… Now, if you’re a perfectionist like I am, you understand that these emotions can sometimes push you to be harder on yourself as you’re continuously confronted to remain on top of things.

What keeps me going??? Couple elements I’ve shared in some of my earlier posts such as: the importance of me being passionate and loving what I do etc etc...

"Play time in the sand" is over and burning “random bridges” is OVER …
This means, distorting every shade of fear, trusting the unknown (i.e. no comfort zone); getting out of the frame to see and feel the bigger picture… [“see and feel” sorry I have to emphasize on this powerful meaning – not to worry soon you’ll understand]

On this “strategist” note I leave you….
Can’t talk “the talk” if you’re unwilling to work for it….

Language of the Soul

It's Tuesday,

Different jazz, different breed! Rather interesting if you ask me....
Today I just thought I'd set back, break the routine and spend some "ME TIME"!!! So many things are currently running through my mind, so many thoughts, so many projects, Lord knows the list could go on....

But spending some "me time" is totally something that I like to live up to on a regular, but lately I've been consumed with my scheduled duties and haven't taken the time to pause and just settle down... [Yes, I confirm I am a workaholic] now don't get me wrong, nor confuse my statement... “Settling down” doesn't mean kicking back and being sluggish?! It simply means taking the time to break free, self-evaluate, and assess everything that is around you and within you in a peaceful manner... [gotcha didn't I??? you should of known there was going to be a double sense to this; I'm a philosopher I can't help it]... but yeah, today I am in “total reflexion” mode - taking the time to smell the roses and making sure my spirit is in alignment...

I love being busy and keeping myself occupied, however it's important that I don't lose myself in the process! After all, it’s so easy to get lost and caught up in our “daily, daily” and as much as we make the efforts to balance, at times we somehow manage to fail! So how do we or should I say how can we measure up? Truly depends! Sometimes we need to breathe, sometimes we just need to pause and sometimes we just need to completely detach…

Red glass of wine, lavender neck wrap, Foot sauna, and eye pads! Tailored spa & pampering??? "LANGUAGE OF MY SOUL" … today I’m doing just that!!! –> Cutting the strings and allowing myself to loosen …

Cut, cut, cut... Detached :)

Monday Jazz...

"Ba-da-ba-da"... It's Monday!

I know most people just want to hide under the rug when they hear the sounds of the "Monday jazz” or perhaps boycott a day of work but "hey" what a blessing to know that we were all, for the most part, fortunate to make it through the weekend and now find ourselves able to go about our daily schedules for this week -> rule of thumb: make it effectual!

Last week was really busy and the files just keep on piling up! ... Please mark my words and feel my emotions when I say "I am not complaining"! In fact I am making more room to receive all that is coming to me; Call it magnetic or however you like I am mentally "de-cluttering" to nourish this focus! With this said, can my cup please overflow…?!

Here are my top ingredients for this week’s formula:
More room, more excitement; more excitement, less distractions; less distractions, more focus; and more focus.... More Greatness! With this perspective in mind, how can “Peace n’ Positivity” fail me??? Did I hear you say AMEN…?

Last week we ended on the launch of our new website http://withinessenceproductions.com/index.html [did you look at it? not that I want to pressure or anything but you know I had to throw that in there somewhere lol]...

Also, I had briefly mentioned the open model casting for the "I AM FASHION: RIP THE FAB LANE" fashion show set for next May.... Now, I know it's Monday so I'll take it easy and won't bombard you with details [at least not today that is lol] but just know that everything ran smoothly! It was a long and dynamic day, everyone was wonderful and up to speed [such an amazing team] and we the jury and photographers called it a great turn out! It's truly going to be hard to pick out the models considering that there are so many options however the job has to be done....

Less of me for now, got to get back to my "creating duties" to make the best out of this "Monday Jazz”....

On this “note” I leave you: "ba-da-ba-da"...

Lights, Camera....VoilĂ

Shhh...

Happy hour, Happy day :)

Let's hit this off with a little tale of suspense... Tell somebody to tell somebody that our new website is officially DONE and right around the corner!!! We are so excited and truly looking forward on sharing this launch! The website is looking oh-so lovely and is truly the epitome of WEP's "Classic, Chic & Soulful" mantra...

Won't say more nor fill the void, I'll just let the countdown do the talking...!

"Explicit Fabulocity"....

Alright, so here we are on the blessed 3rd of the week. This means it’s time to give what I call the "insight" scoop! A bit more details on what's been going on and so on...

I mentioned that Within Essence Productions was working away the preps for some fashion shows... yes; Ottawa is growing to this extent and believe me when I say that there is no need to get sceptical nor any reason to underestimate this city’s potential when it comes to building a bridge called “opportunity”. [How dare I ? I know and yes I said it! hey, tough love is never enough unless it's straight to the point] Life is truly about what you make of it and HOWEVER you choose to "create"
--> here goes that word again, did you highlight it ??? :)

One of the many projects that I am currently so delighted to be working on is the 2nd annual of the "I AM FASHION: RIP THE FAB LANE" that is set for May 2010.

This show was firstly introduced to the Ottawa fashion scene last year, to showcase Gwen Madiba's new collection, alongside numerous talented local designers. The show had a tremendous outcome and quite frankly is the reason why I gave birth to Within Essence Productions [the new addition to my BVM Enterprise (Beyond Verbal Measures Ent.)]... I will expand on this confession further; just lookout for the tales of "The Foundation" lol.

But really all jokes aside, I am extremely humbled and feel so honoured to be directing and managing every bits of the show once again... it's a lot of production but boy is it ever worth it!!!! I enjoy every moment! Our casting call is set for this Saturday November 7th and man is the competition EVER FIERCE!!! The models are looking quite “tasty” [I must say so myself ] Who said, “picking” and “cutting” was made easy? However, the question remains, which one of them can rock "THE FAB LANE"? Mum is the word for now but we shall see...

Gwen Madiba is an amazing woman and her new collection will be exactly as our dear colleague Marcia B. described it: "EXPLICIT FABULOCITY"!!!

Here’s a little snippet from last year's show... Enjoy :)

" Climatic Plateau "...

Couple clinics, one-on-one consultations...??? So much is brewing in the kitchen right now!
I've been busy working out some preps for two fashion shows, beauty & empowerment workshops, a wedding reception and a musical play all set for next year...

"2010" - is truly looking like a fountain of wealth and liberation. I say this, not in a monetary way but from a vivid perspective.

It's been a week of network, email and phone call follow-ups, oh and site bookings! Now, if you are in the event planning field you know the importance of juggling and fighting through "peak seasons" in order to get the venue that you want ---> "hint hint" Always book AHEAD!! (I will stretch on this matter at a later time)

What I wanted to share with you today was... The importance I find in positioning yourself in a line of expertise that "YOU" L.O.V.E! The more and more I embrace my entrepreneurial ventures, the more I realize how much time is required to DEDICATE, PERFECT and MASTER my craft! Often time’s people tell me to lay low and relax and I say this... “but I love what I do”!

Nothing keeps me on my feet and as PASSIONATE as business does!Being able and blessed to open up this bridge has opened-up my mind to sooo many wonderful things as I do believe that this journey is a crucial character builder.

It's so easy to let that fire die inside of you at times because you feel like you've ran out of ideas... Life is too lovely, and there's is just too much to it, so why give up? Unplug the life support, find that strength within, discover your "purpose" and set yourself to “HIT” and “GO"; don’t run just pace yourself and hold yourself accountable for what you do...

Can’t tell you how to live, but can only share this “climatic” perspective…

"Eye Can See"

So, it's Friday....
Oh wait hear that? I think I just heard the birds singing in H-A-R-M-O-N-Y :)

Truthfully speaking, I don't have much to say but the least I can do is leave you with a dose of positivity and charm :)

We've reached the blessed "fifth" of the week which I find worthy to reflect upon. For most, it's been busy, it's been exciting and I can personally say that I feel proficient!
  • Made some new connections
  • Enticed some relations
  • Carried the momentum, (hence why new developments are kicking in… 4, 3, 2 shhhh stay tune)!

My eyes are truly peeled and I can peacefully check out every single square on this week's "to-do list"! Remember, no fluff & no sugar coating, as a great mentor of mine would say:"What values" did you bring to the table this week??

Here’s my share of the pie:
Love “no limit” and each time you play your “aces” just know your “cues”…

Autumn Blues

A little down around the edges?

It's obvious to see; we've been ceaselessly raided by the paradox of nature called "summer rain" which can leave one with a wheel of mixed emotions to bid on...

Call on the clouds however you like but I say this: “why so serious” lol? There’s no reason to cave into your own demise and minimize the joys of your heart!

Autumn is personally one of my favourite seasons! I just love that breezy feel; weird I know but to each his own! There's just so much about this weather that makes me want to sign a "renew"... In other words, here’s where I feel more challenged to maximize, more refined and full of inspiration! (Hope you didn’t assume I was referring to the cold)…

All obstacles shaped and bent but this is when your creative juices should be flowing! Seriously, it’s time to seek and find out what YOU can do!

* Design a timeline of adventure you wish to execute before the New Year begins – even if this means outlining your goals for the years to come – at least its productive right?

* Go grab that painting you’ve been trying to complete for months time, what about that gym
membership or what about those books you keep claiming you will read (you know what I’m talking about) …

What about? What about? You know the list can go on...

All in all, WHATEVER "WORKS"… JUST SOW!
I mentioned creativity, hmmm… Let’s be extreme grab a few leafs or two, pause and breathe, then open your eyes??? What do you see? If you’re answer is nothing…. My reply is: OVERCOME the “Autumn blues” and "GET TO CREATING" [get my drift??] –> Make SOMETHING out of NOTHING!!!

Plant the seeds and let them rise; uncover your own mystery ….

In Focus, In Motion...

Whew....

Thats the emotion you get when you leave room for more excitement in your life! No "if's", No "buts" and No mouth full of "excuses".... Within Essence is 'IN FOCUS'! Leveled up to the hydro :)

I shared yesterday, that a lot of things are moving forth and one that I am pleasantly delighted to announce is the launch of our website! That's right, we are definitely preserving and the look couldn't be anymore sophisticated. Cinnamon Toast New Media Inc are to blame as they thoroughly took the time to not only create and define the brand but understand every bit of what our company is about with their "Spicy & Savvy" method.... Yes, for the impatient "militants" I would love to spoil the surprise for some feedback but not to worry, soon you will see as we are "live" in 5, 4, 3....

In Focus, In Motion - You knew I wouldn't tell! Keep an eye out as the countdown begins :)

Meet N Greet : The word is bliss...

Within Essence Productions wants to take the time to welcome everyone that will be following us as we embark on this journey... "Social Media" seems to have become the new way and tool used to communicate the latest trends and so on! I look at it as a way to explore, share and nurture others... food for thoughts right...right?! But what exactly does that mean? I guess it all depends on what we're looking for in terms of information and what we hope to get out of what is being expressed...

Our value and motto is to "Bring the luxuries of the heart to life"... pretty telling huh? Just wait and see and "see" and "feel" - I'll let that one marinate ;)

For the longest time I sat here thinking... why in the world would I spend time writing a blog?? But then again I thought to myself, why not? Within Essence Productions is going through a maze of total satisfaction and is cooking up so many exciting things (which I will get into very soon)!

With a mind full of ideas and a heart filled with passion.... why not take heed of the “craze” and put it on the map to connect the dots? hmmm....There goes the art of writing and did I mention connecting??? You be the judge...

Join us as we “parlay” into this milestone of bliss... Lights, Camera… Business!

“Rideau”…
